Kent river boat angler lure return – Thanks!

Post by peteren »

Many thanks to the Kent river boat angler, who kindly took the trouble to find this spinnerbait that I’d mis-cast into a far bank snag last week, and return it to my mate.
Not sure if you get on this forum – but much appreciated – and a reminder that snaggy bigger rivers are easier fished from a boat!
It was a bit of a favourite, taken some nice fish including a 4lb chub – and some nice perch when he returned it to me!

Very nice sporting gesture on his behalf.

You didnt mention how he knew it was yours though?

I'd mentioned it when we passed earlier - but 400 yards upstream, so he did well to spot it.
