Re: Zoota lures
I would have liked one of them but not at that price, I probably have 40 wagtails already.

Re: Zoota lures
I know who's selling those and have a notion I may have given him both of them Good luck to him at that price, a tenner would be pushing it. His 8" rep at £26 takes some beating as well
I actually chucked half a dozen wags in the bin last year, they'd had an argument with some sandras and met a sticky end. Wagtail was a good lure, but the very nice Mr Prouse wasn't too amused when I fished with him and saw that I'd chopped the tails off and re-mounted them the right way up, IMO

Absolutely awesome baits for fishing dead slow and fantastic hang time too , only downside was the harness and trebles had to be perfectly aligned for best action

Re: Zoota lures
I have one of the smaller ones and used it to make a mould and can pour my own now.
I've never used a lure that is so badly affected by the harness not being perfect!

Re: Zoota lures
Must admit aI love the Zootas, ribbon tails always outfish the paddle tails for me. Paddle tails do work sometimes just not nearly as much as the ribbons.

One trout water I fish, paddle tails have always been King, put on a curly and they're generally not interested in hitting the lure, but do like to follow. Can't explain it, but 20 odd years of fishing a water and that hasn't changed. Funny old game this fishing lark.Must admit aI love the Zootas, ribbon tails always outfish the paddle tails for me. The Wobbly Bob is an absolutely deadly trolling lure. Works really well with the hooks rigged on the back.

Mine was I think a prototype that Alex kindly gave me. Fast sinking if memory serves. I don't have any now, but it was a good lure for the trout waters. The Wobbly Bob is an absolutely deadly trolling lure. Works really well with the hooks rigged on the back.
