Go-to boat fishing lures
Savage gear line thru roach in 25 or 32cm (natural roach/rudd/bream or lemon)
Savage gear line thru trout in 30cm or occasionally 40cm (especially the lemon or albino base colours)
Eastfield vipers 40cm
Miuras mouse plus various combinations of curly/paddle tail shad tails (assorted colours)
Scout swimmers 18cm or Westin swim glides 18cm with large curly tails added
Eastfield Wingman curly 30cm (various colours)
Gator catfish curly 35cm (Black/red or firetiger fluoro)
Giant pig shads are always a fish catcher but don't seem so productive as a trolling lure.
At last count I had 37 large boxes of lures in regular use plus 2 filing cabinets full of spares and oddities, and many boxes of obscure lures I occasionally use. Plus the perch fishing lure collection, and the trout lures, sea lures and lures I purchased for specific holidays like largemouth and smallmouth bass lures. Maybe I have too many lures? I think I have more lures being delivered tomorrow from Sweden. Maybe I should buy another XL lure bag...

I’d also get a big s. Great lures that are cheap and easy to use. Fish them in all sorts of different ways, when on the surface in summer.

same with shads anything 17-20cm+, 18cm slick shads work well,i have a couple of big gunki g'bumps they work well but you can use almost anyting thats a decent size, some you can cut the head off to butt up to the head of the mouse better, i find can help it run straighter.
Marks options are good, they soverign ones i use are pretty cheap, but they do work.

Re: Must Have / Go To Lures
A very effective winter lure on a local Shallow loch for me has been the Salmo Perch fished just sub surface perch and roach pattern but as they are probably only seeing it from below I don't think it matters too much.
