Volkerak is not the zander water it once was. It used to do a good few each year that were well over the British record but unfortunately it's seen a lot of pressure and other troubles that have had an effect. There are good fish still but they're very thin on the ground. There are some other waters that offer huge zeds or different ones that offer good numbers. I can't help with boat hire etc but if you need any info drop me a pm and tell me what you're looking for and I will try to help.
