Pike pool 60 (Chris Hammond) A Bakers Dozen.

Post by dart stew laws »

http://thepikepool.blogspot.co.uk/2012/ ... dozen.html

Apologies for the delay and order ( extended to the contributors)

Here we find Chris 'Hammy' in as finer form as ever, if ever a publisher was crying out for a new stablemate, then cast your net, this chap is a 'pool' favourite and with just cause.

Thank you Chris for this, and would like to call you, one of life's gents and a friend.

Superb read Chris, realy enjoyed that.

Those photos look suspiciously familiar to a place that you once told me "not even the Queen is allowed to fish there"..... Now i know why Image

Oh Hammy, I felt I was there with you at times and genuinely wanted - needed even for you to catch. I was as happy as you were with that first Jack and as rewarded as you at the first whacker!

Only Danny Taylor comes close to your writing quality and if I were to only read offereings from the two of you for ever more, I'm sure I'd never feel I've lost out by not reading anything else!

Absolutely fantastic read. Brilliantly written piece and as for the fishing, what an experience, and glad you got the rewards to live up to the dream.

Not to take anything away from all the other excellent Pike Pool articles, but that was the best yet! Sounds like just my kind of place, would love to photograph it! Chris really did paint a great picture of the venue.

Thanks for the positive words folks. It's nice to know that a few of you have enjoyed reading my story. And it is always encouraging to get some feedback.

I haven't written anything for a while so I've enjoyed contributing to the Pike Pool again.

Like the other editors before him I think Stew is doing a grand job of keeping the blog going.

Hope you've all had a great Christmas and a happy New Year to one and all of you. Image
