Hi Chris,
Thanks for starting this Pikepool thing.
Think it would be good for this to keep going as a separate blogg format and not fizzle out. If no one else wants to do it, I am willing to try and learn how to do it and if its not beyond me technically I’d drive it for 2012 and then someone else can have a go. Think it is healthy for the forum and important to have a internet place where folk can write freely, not for the commercial gain of themselves or any other individual.

I'm glad to hear that someone is willing to keep it going Rob. Good on ya mate. Image

It is simple enough to use the blog but not all of the controls will work on my computer, including the picture insert tabs. The pictures end up pretty much where they want in an article despite my trying endlessly to place them where the authors have suggested. I cant edit the labels stuff either on my machine. I'm sure a more tech headed individual will find it a breeze though. Good luck.

And thanks to all of those who sent me articles for the Pool. I think there's been some great reading all in all. Image

That's unnecessarily modest of you Lumby. I would have been even more lost than I was without your help, and the blog was entirely your baby. Cheers for all the patient advice. Image

I think it's the writers we have to thank Stew. Some great yarns and enthralling storytelling. I'm sure the whole thing will build even more momentum under Rob's stewardship.

Thanks for the words on my scribbles... ta.

I'll not write again on pike but i'll have a crack at running the The Pikepool. The Internet is the way forward for anyone who wants to have a little crack at writing something. The Pikepool as set up by Chris Hammond is the place to have a go. I'll have a "go" for 2012 at keeping it going. It will be what it will be, warts and all. I have few ideas to keep it fresh and interesting.... ALTERNATIVE to whats out there at the mo.

Drop me a pm if you can contribute.... dont freek out if i contact you for a contribution as there are lots of interesting guys on here who have contributed over many years to the forum and its various re-incarnations. I know who you are. Image

For love and not money eh ?
