Thanks for sharing chris, very much enjoyed that.

I cant agree more with what you have written. A big part of my angling is observing and recording the flora and fauna that we experience whilst fishing. Although i haven't got the best equipment i still try and record as much interesting "material" from a session. Fishing is a way of life for me but there will come a day when i may no longer be able to fish due to age/health etc and my memory may not be what it was, these photos and records will be treasured then.

Once again brilliant article Image

Brilliant, think anyone who's fished from a child can relate to that. Had many a happy hour catching bullheads from under rocks on the local stream. Pictures are important as you're spot on, the encounters are much too short.

Really struck a cord with me that Chris... another fantastic article.

Totally agree with what the guys are saying. Photographs are a massive part of it for me. The time we spend with big fish and anything else out of the ordinary is all too fleeting. Taking a photogragh not only allows us to share the moment, letting others into this world and also taking us back there.

That really struck home as one of my early memories....

Great stuff Chris, and spot on. We spend a lifetime trying for the whopper and when we catch it, the moment is over all too soon. Where would we be without a good photo to look back on in years to come.?
As for the wildlife aspect of fishing, I can fully relate to that. There's more to be seen on a day by the water than pounds and ounces.
Marcraft are for queers.

Really enjoyable read Chris cheers, new camera on the horizon for myself.

I have always loved looking at photos of my captures but being the disorganized chap that i am since going digital my collection of photos is a right mess, now i know it is it will get sorted photos are an important part of it all to me.

Great read that Chris, and I completely agree about the photo's.

They play as big a part of my angling as catching the fish. Image
My opinion may offend, but it's only an opinion that may differ to your's.
It doesn't make me wrong.
