bream on the canal

Post by stubbojo »

been i while since i have fished for bream on the canal , prebaited a likely spot under a big overhanging tree swim
started getting good liners from the off , but probably lost the first 4 fish , as just came off halfway in all felt good fish ...
so swapped over to a bigger lead and hooked one solid this time ..........

Nice one Steve. I'm quite partial to a bit of Canal Breaming, it's a great way to use up bait as they'll hoover up pretty much anything, some monster hybrids in the cut too- one pictured is about 5lb.

Very nice bream  get pestered by decent sized bream when fishing for tench on a local day ticket lake. Banoffee expander pellets and corn seem to attract them non stop.
