The forum is due an upgrade soon (im still in development) and thought id introduce the new look menus as this is probably the bit people will struggle with the most.

uploading attachments is even easier than before too

plus a few other little features I hope will be welcomed.

Oh no! Another forum I use has just made changes I've not got used to yet. I can't cope with more!!!!

ive been working hard to get things like they were before but as with all major upgrades trying to do things the older way can be a major pain in the a**e

It wont be too hard dave. the biggest change is those menus up the top and ive put the smileys under the textbox rather than at the side (better as theres more space to see them now) and a few buttons look different (c***s!)

big changes in the mobile theme though. the one In use on the current version isnt available for the new version coming so ive had to rejig another theme to work with mobile.

I hate when this happens like most people but have to do this for security updates (old versions support is coming to end of life)

I wasnt going to show these screenshots but as you can see, not a lot has really changed

can you spot a new feature ?

I would really like to hear peoples thoughts on any problems they have had or annoyances with the current version of the forum so that I may look into doing something on the new version.

It looks pretty straightforward from the screen shots. I'm sure I'll adapt quickly enough.

Nah. I'm no Luddite. The graphics interface looks good.

just been messing about with a demo of it. I quite like it. think id remove a few things from it though.

and the marquee, and the glowing text, and the flashing text, and the fading text. on second thoughts........................
