Chew Valley Giants!
Just had my first real chance to flick through this! As with all pike books I have I always flick through the photos first and by god what photos they are!! They are all belters of fish but for me the two that stand out are Pred and Phils 40's! They really are ginormous.
Anyway, my first impression was that it was a nice heavy feel to it ( I got the hard back version) the type is a good size and the pages feel thick enough to take a good thumbing (ow err).
I've only had a chance to read about a couple of catches so far and I can only say that I was enthralled.
Chew gets a bit of stick on here, but as you can see from the pics of each fish their captors are beaming with pride.
I know I'm not finished this yet but I know that all will enjoy this book!
Well done to all the captors and especially to Phil and Carl for putting this together for us to share.
