The History Of Pike Fishing - Vol II (Graham Booth)

Post by Fentiger01 »

I received my copy of Vol II today and whilst I haven't yet read the book - it looks to be superbly presented with a fantastically illustrated cover. The reason I've put this initial review up prior to actually having read it, is for the superb service. After a few email exchanges over the last couple of years with Graham, mainly me asking if he could reserve me a copy as I love both History and Pike Fishing and have been eagerly awaiting its arrival, I received an email the other day saying that he'd posted me a copy and instructing me to send a cheque to his address "when convenient for me".

Fast forward, an absolutely peachy looking book arrived at my gaff today and I haven't actually yet even paid for it yet - Graham is a gentleman for sure, I am really looking forward to getting stuck into this book. It looks awesome!

Hats off Graham  (cheque really is in the post mate)

Just ordered this and Volume1.

Harper were/are doing both for £60 with free postage.

Also ordered Broadland Pike whilst shopping on their site.

Realised I always buy books for my dad but don't own any myself. (Unless I steal his)

The History of Pike Fishing Vols 1 & 2 is an excellent treatise that should stand the test of time. Maybe not every Piker's must read but if development of Pike fishing interests you then look no further.
