You dont have to worry, we have years of fishing left in our bodies because we came from proven stock, weren't molly coddled by our parents and grew up outdoors, not eating junk food while watching TV and computer screens.

The story of his giant Musky would make a great read but the problem with that is on its own it’s probably less than 5% of the book, a book that will be full of species that I have little interest in.

Re: Bucket list Leviathans
Well I got this book written by Phil Wakeford a week or so ago and what a read.
24 chapters of catches I can only dream about. (Always fancied a golden mahseer)
Exotic places with the most exciting fishing you can imagine.
Inspirational stuff, with plenty of information if you do decide to emulate Phil and his guests.
And what I wouldn't give for that Musky..
And as you would expect it's another top quality book from Stephen Harper.

My opinion may offend, but it's only an opinion that may differ to your's.
It doesn't make me wrong.

Thanks Phil, I am really pleased that you like the book. Together with my guest chapter authors, I tried to make each chapter an interesting read by means of a short story surrounding the species or individual fish, rather than just sticking to the bare facts or where, when and what. Pretty much universally the reviews and feedback has been very positive indeed.
