Took the dog for a walk just now near local lake.
Thought he had grabbed a kids toy.
Funniest noise from a bird I’ve ever heard.
Was unable to see it but it called out a few times.
Apparently it’s been out and about locally since 2015.
No pics but this is definitely the sound
Some fecking “heat dome we are in”. Indian more like Oz

Reminds me of the white wallaby that I saw holding the traffic up in Bowland a few years back.
