My Mum’s dog (Charlie) is 13 now and over the last 12 months became very fussy with his food, often ignoring them completely after a few sniffs. He’s always had a nice diet of mince, chicken etc (never kibble) and we were worried something was wrong with him as he started losing weight. Sadly Charl doesn’t like the raw food Bert & Ernie have, probably too old to switch to it.
A friend recommended trying a company called Butternut Box, they supply frozen meals which have been cooked and use human grade food.
Charl absolutely loves this food and now sits waiting at meal times and devours it. As a result he is gaining weight, has more energy and his coat is nice and silky.
I’ve recommended to three other people with older/fussy dogs and they’ve all seen the same results.
It’s super convenient as well, it’s quick to defrost and there is a nice variety of flavours, Charl likes his warmed up in the microwave for 30 seconds.
If you use my referral link below you get 50% off your first order and 25% off your second, certainly worth trying for a couple of months

You would be surprised how many owner's feed their pets. My mother used to cook her dog's proper dinners laid out on a plate for them to eat. One used to wolf the lot down pronto the other used to cover with a tea towel and then pick at it for the next hour.
