Just bought another Theoben Rapid,
Some nice bits added to the gun by the previous owner but something isn’t right…..
It’s off to Kev G in Doncaster who is apparently the man for these guns

So will see how much this short lived hobbie will cost 😂
Let us know when it’s sorted Carl, I’ll take you out to a nice Rat shoot permission i have
Cheers Brian
Appreciate that

No need to send it away mate, it’s your sausage fingers and mole like eyes that are the issue here.

I’ll give you ten bottles of jamesons for it 😃👍🏼
Your probably right 😂😂😂

Good rifles and yes Kev G knows his stuff.
I used to have a Theoben TTR .20 the most accurate rifle that I've ever owned, the chap i sold it to was well happy with its accuracy.

I will always remember meeting up with this chap at a motorway service station both of us feeling slightly uneasy completing our transaction for the TTR and despite parking up side by side in a remote area people still walked behind our vehicles my back doors open and the rifle lying on the open gun slip. He remarked " I'm a retired CID and here i am buying a rifle just a few miles from Stanstead airport in a service station.
The rifle didn't leave my car unsleaved and the buyer wound down the power before taking charge of it for peace of mind( it was running at 11.5 ftp prior to hand over.

The last few years i only shot targets and always ended up shooting flies, flower heads etc for fun. Cant see me ever wanting to kill anything even what we call vermin have a right to live and at worst a quick clean despatch.......going soft maybe....... respect though is 100%.

Regards

I’m not big on the killing but the rats on the woodpile need sorting
You don’t see many TTRs for sale, seem a rare gun 👍

Rats, grey squirrels and feral pigeons no problem with respect. Had a rat problem, quite possibly nesting under our neighbours decking earlier this summer, trapped 4 and nothing since so hopefully they've moved on. Planted some Mint as apparently they dont like it so if thats the case they'll give my small garden a detour.

Regards

A lot of the older rifles can keep up with what's around today, I've got a couple of CZ S200s 2002 Mk1 and 2004 Mk2 and also an S410 classic 2003, I do like airarms also an S400 and 3xTDRs, all brilliant rifles. I also do all my own servicing. Rog

I had one of those! It was a great rifle at legal limit and even better stepped up to FAC. Sold it years ago when I lost my permission and relinquished my FAC

Surge of rats coming my way this week from my neighbour. Why don’t those with wood piles deal with the rats?

Plus side I can blow the dust of the Daystate
I still smile as I pull the trigger after seeing this;
“No more baths for you 🐀

Somethings you just can’t un-see! :laughs:

I’ve noticed that When I’m fishing and one dives, they can hold their breath longer than they can when assisted diving into a gallon bucket!

Volume x Pressure =Time I guess
