A quick calculation suggests that 10,000 pigeons could eat 1 tonne of food per day so need to be controlled.
How a problem species is controlled is the important thing to me and shooting them in this case is the right way.

Not sure exactly where the pigoeon are though as he has land in different places, some by the Mersey. He said in the video where he mentions the 11,000 that there are still more pigeons coming in!

Take care if you or yours has contact with seagull sh1t. It carries botulism and can be transferred to animals, other birds and humans.
Many of the gulls we have around in winter come from northern Europe, lesser black backs and black headed especially.
