Good evening from Oxford

Post by ethmanp »

Evening gents,

My names Ethan and I've been fishing for approx 15 years. Having fished for pike as a young lad my attention turned to carp from around the age of about 11 and i'm now 26!

Last year my brother caught a 20lb pike and I was in awe at the beast! Since i've been lured in to the excitement of fishing for pike. My pb stands at 17lb 2oz and that was caught on a lure - my favourite method of fishing for them! The excitement of them smashing the lure is not bettered by much and when things come in place i.e. location, timing and presentation lure fishing can be phenomenal!

I've been lucky enough to secure 4 boat trips to Chew so I'm very much looking forward to this - later this month will be my first time visiting the place so with no expectations, I'll be sure to share the photo of the 40lb'er I catch!

My target fish for this year is a 20lb and hopefully I can share some pictures with you guys of it if/when it comes!

In the mean time, be lucky!

Ethan
