New member, barnsley
Hey all, new to the group and pike fishing! Was a carp angler but havnt been for 4 years with work commitments, but came out of retirement and thought I'd have a bash at piking after a lot of reading up! Even though up to now I've blanked every time I've been up to now hopefully change this weekend! Tight lines! Dale

Welcome to the pit Dale
I'm sure that you'll catch one soon
As for pike fishing in the summer I don't do it personally,I'm to busy trying to catch other species.
But if you look at the pike fishing forum you'll see that there's one titled summer piking
I'm sure you'll find some good advice
Enjoy the pit
Regards
Tom

Hi Dale, that's my home town! We'll have a matter when you've made enough posts to use PM's. Welcome matte, & remember - no naming venues on here (not that there's any worth a toss locally)

Yes let's get your post count up, I don't get out much tbh with time constraints - self employment & 2 kids and all that. More into short lure sessions than bait fishing. Which area of Barnsley you in?
