The Pikers Pit

Hi all.

Been doing a little online searching to try and get myself up to speed as I'm coming back to fishing after many many years.

I recently moved into the Canterbury area of Kent and looking to do a bit of predator fishing. Pike in particular but more than happy to catch perch etc. Not found anywhere obvious to fish for pike yet.

But coming across this forum has been great. So much to learn. And what great helpful bunch.

First plans are to join the local club. They are very good I believe. And comments on here seem to back that up. Can relearn old and new skills at my own pace. They also host the local PAC club so will look to join them too.

I'm 60 next birthday and looking towards early retirement with a little luck... so I'm hoping next year should be a good'un

Good to here there's few nutty ones on here. Wouldn't be fun without em would it.

I think this will be a very enjoyable and informative forum. Off to post elsewhere on the forum as soon as I can think of something worth saying.

I then Also have the problem of remembering what that was.
