Hi From northeast
Hi Everyone. I have just joined the forum. Long time pike angler from the north east. I spend most my time fishing the local river which is where I caught my pb pike of 25lb. I caught my first pike on a family holiday at in Lincolnshire. That was sometime around 2002. I've been hooked on pike ever since. Jonny

Hello Jonny and welcome to the Pit, there are a handful of us die hard Pikers up here, and may I say, a 25lb fish from a river up here has to be equivalent to a river 30lb plus down south, exceptional fish very well done

Re: Hi From northeast
Thanks for the warm welcome guys. My local river has certainly been kind to me over the years. For that reason I have never really felt the need to travel far. I spend a lot of time roving with limited tackle walking as far as I can bare and fishing as many spots as possible. Sometimes I just get lucky.
Here is a pic of my pb. I wish I had a helper to get some better photos of the fish. I jumped out of my skin when it's head broke the surface of the water
