Cheshire RA9 meeting Monday 5th Feb

Hi all
Our next meeting will be on Monday 5th February, when we return to our usual venue of Owley Wood Club at Weaverham. The meeting starts at 7.30pm.
This meeting's look at tackle and tactics will focus on fly fishing for pike and I will have my own gear with me to show you how it's done. I have been fly fishing for pike for around 20 years and have to say it's my all time favourite method of catching pike - and big ones too.
As usual we will be running a second-hand tackle stall and there will be a raffle too. More details of that to follow.
The winner of last month's raffle was Kevin Marsden, who won a day's guided pike fishing on a Welsh trout water. I understand Barry McHale is taking him out this coming weekend. Good luck to you both.
