I only went chucking lures around to evaluate two 8ft 6in American Tackle Bushido rods to see what lure types and sizes they'd be best suited to (in my opinion). I clipped a Bull Dawg on forthe first time in 15 years I reckon, and first cast...
Just shows a good lure is always a good lure. Even when it's been nested next to one of a different colour for ages.
Half an hour later I was on my way home.
It's a pity lure fishing from the bank is such a PITA these days with rules about mats and nets making you carry more junk around.
I hadn't even bothered to take a camera so had to use my hated phoneBlast from the past

The light rod will handle a Regular Dawg well enough too.

Talking about bully's, can you still get them over here? They seem to have fallen out of fashion

Hardly anything on there these days, he hasn't updated the stock for years.
Carp is my most productive colour. I remember once I took a friend out lure fishing for the day, so he could catch his first pike. I told him to use the carp colour dawg as it is one of the best lures, but he didn't fancy it. Suit yourself I thought, first cast I had a fish
