In the end, it’s not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away.

A bat? Fook off :boing:

I can understand a duck and a rat but a bat

The clones will snap it up though..........

Savage gear make a lot of unnecessary lures I like the Savage gear jerkster and 4plays are great... A frog(weedless) or a popper any day of the week will compete with these new lures.. The price is dear for the bat a 12.5cm is 30 euro!!
Db fishing did a good video on it.

I enjoy that lads YouTube stuff, he does not take himself to seriously and clearly he enjoys his fishing. Thankfully though he does not fish my waters, then I may view it differently.

Just yet another version of the "money grabbers" turned out to catch the "monkey see monkey want" brigade. A surface lure is a surface lure, if esox wants' it he/she will ave' it!!

There's always the ol' trick of wire rigging a surface carrot..........

Meet a former (old) surface lure Iv'e caught on to prove a point....... Childs' rubber duck, rubber band, trace and treble.

Don't take no "Bat" or "Rat"........but then, it don't look as good, won't last as long and cost's about a £1.

I would have hoped Lily Savage gear would have fixed the problems they have rather than come up with another pile of s***e, hang on there is no profit in that.

Here's the follow up vid from Savage Gear. It tells you how to fix your bat when retrieving it against normal water resistance shows it isn't up to even that!

What a joke, someone must be having a laugh with this surely, It's even advertised as 3D, so you can be pretty confident it will be the most life-like bat a pike will ever see. Brilliant.

I haven't watched that video; but the tab on the wings doesn't bend in normal use, it's so you can pull the lure free if it gets snagged in heavy cover, branches etc.
I cast into an over hanging tree in the dark, i pulled the lure free and one wing had moved slightly, but it's designed to do that other wise the lures wings act as an anchor and you lose the lure. A jack took it too when i retrieved the lure back (pic below)

Image

Wings are made of 0.6mm stainless steel on the large bat and 0.5mm on the small/medium (i've just had a micrometer on mine), they're bent too along their length so that adds strength.
