Lure trace

Post by basssound »

So what's the best to use, solid metal/rod trace with zero flex or make my own up with some trace wire and swivels with clips?

If people on here make their own then can you please advise me on what wire breaking strain and clips you use.

Its a good idea to have a few different types of traces. I would t say there is a best but imo certainly best for certain types of lures.

Ive got some that benefit from a rigid trace, some that the action is ruined by a rigid but better with a flexible trace.
