Abu 5601 is what I use for that weight.

I also have a Curado 201k which would suit that range.

For that weight range, I use the Curado 201K in standard gearing and PG versions, and now I also have one of the new M series in a HG . The Abu 5601 is a bit of a dino when compared to those reels and my experience from owning quite a few over the years is that they need a lot of preventative maintenance to keep them from f*****g up - if you use them a lot that is. Thankfully, parts are easy to get and DIY maintenance is also easy. They still do the job, but if Abu is your thing, IMO you are better off looking at the low profile Revos.

Some of the smaller Daiwa are worth a look. I also have a Tatula HD in the 200 size, very nice reel and good alternative to the Curado when you want to fish with heavier braids, but still use a smaller baitcaster. Usual debate, Shimano or Daiwa.Pushed, I'd say the new Curado M is the now the Daddy of the mid-sized baitcaster

I have mostly invested in Shimano reels and like all of them I do however have a few Diawa which I also like the steez been one of them not sure of the two brands which of their reels would be the flagship model for that weight range

Another vote for the Daiwa Tatula HD 200. Very nice compact reel but heavy-duty enough to cast big lures.
