Picked up lovely 22 alderbaron reel now after upgrading the rod it’s currently sat on but should add I have good other bfs set it in the form Diawa alphas air which sits happily on a synapse bfs Ltd 2-7gr so probably go bit heavier with alderbaron? Don’t mind spending a bit to match the reel what weighs do you guys run the alderbaron and what do you feel is the optimal range is for this reel thoughts please
Thanks l

Re: Alderbaron
I have two outfits rigged with Aldebarans, I cast from around 5g on the lighter one up to 20g on the heavier set up.
If I want to throw less than around 5g I usually revert to a fixed spool if distance is important.

Yes I've ordered a few rods No problems Well packaged in plastic tube.Quick delivery to. Postage and import duty a shame.Buy 2 rods at the same time and the postage is the same.

Just deciding what to go for so many models on the Megabass stuff not that I am set on that just fancy something can’t get off the shelf over here and that will complement the alderbaron

I've had this for around 5 years now, glass composite crankbait specific rod, for Perch and Chub. It's 6" 3 weighted for 1/4 to 1/2 oz. It's a cracking rod to use and one of the few I don't think I could sell. Bought from Japan Angler and from order to purchase it took 7 days. The import duty stung a bit mind.
