Post by Black Orchid »

Hi all,

My birthday is rapidly approaching and the Mrs has asked me what I would like. I'm gonna ask for a Pike Angling Book, can anyone here suggest a good one ?

Thanks,

Black

Dream pike and extreme pike are good reads (harper books)

Mick brown's professional pike angler is good.

Theres a new publication out this month, willow pitch 3 the esox edition. Published by little egret press

I can't suggest a good one, but I can suggest one to avoid - 'Fox Guide to Modern Pike Fishing'. It's really just a catalogue flogging Fox products but they've disguised it as a fishing guide.

All the shouts are great reads. If you want something a little different, take a look at Tangles with Pike by Dominic Garnett.
