Post by whitey79 »

So this weekend I’m attempting to catch my first Zander from the canal
So my question is I will be jigging with rubber lures on a 3/12g drop shot rod do I need a wire trace for zeds I’m assuming so but was thinking is it necessary
Also any perticular lure colours I’m going on the grand union thanks for any help

always use a trace ,sods law a pike will take it ......dont be put off using wire for perch as well
when targeting perch i use wire , because of the pike that nearly always muscle in ......makes no difference in my experiences.

Always use a wire trace irrespective of what you are targetting

There is always the chance of a pike
