Its run by a very respected Cat angler. Ive bought a few things from there and the service is first class.

Ive used clonks when fishing from the boat and also used them once fishing off a jetty.

We didnt actually have a clonk on the jetty so used the underside of a stubby beer bottle and got the same sort of sound from it. 10 mins later my mate had two cats on the bank. Definatley works.

There is a very definite technique to clonking (one I don't posess, but my twin Bro' Rob has perfected it). You could give the same clonk to two different people, but the difference between one who has the "knack" and another who doesn't would be enormous.
