Twig rig variation

Hi all

After constructing some twig rigs, from cahira wire I wanted to be able to change the hook size for different scenarios, without having a multitude of rigs tied up, so I’ve added a Fastach clip, and shrunk tubed it just after the eye.
Has anyone else done anything similar to this?

I’m just concerned it may be OTT as it extends the hook forward about 15mm, so do I now decrease the distance between the twig and hook clip? To prevent the Eel taking the rig to far back?
Or do we think it won’t matter?

When I use the twig rig I have a few mm from eye of the hook. You dont want gap to big as it defeats the object
