Tiercel wrote:Certainly very deep thought provoking stuff there Alex, for sure, and yourself and our Armed Forces have my total respect mate.
I've often wondered what it is that can make one man desire to be put on the front line, and another wanting the complete opposite and perhaps I'll never know.... maybe it stems back to when mankind in it's infancy we were all hunters?
Thanks for the brief insight into your world Alex, you're a true Hero my friend, even though as you might say "It's just a job!"
Thanks for the very kind comments lads, well its hard to explain but all i can say is that i had and i still have an over whelming urge to seek battle, the only thing preventing me is children and a good missus. Had i been single id like nothing more still than to be at the very beating heart of the action anywhere "they wish to send me" not a phsyco or a mad man far from it im a fairly peaceful living guy spend alot of time at harelaw just watching and relaxing. Its just something inside me a flame that wont go out.
Thank you
