Danny Taylor is one very talented writer and his angling skills don't seem too shabby either! I don't suppose anyone has personal contact details for Danny, as he doesn't seem to be on here much? Cheers

cheers for all the replies lads, much appreciated. Always a bit nerve racking how a piece like this will be recieved as its quite a personal thing to write in this style and not everyone's cup of tea (constructive criticism always welcome as well...............)

Top bombing mate

Remember that day when i saw you down the river brian, ditched the "buckets" now far too much hassle :laughs:
just got back from a weekend down there and it was tough, river wasn't in the best of condition and probably not the best time to go exploring new stretches. Bloody hell i walked some miles, the fishing was not much cop but learned loads and was finally rewarded with this chunky critter on a lure. I'll be back...............
