Pike Pool (105) Chris Donavan
Morning Poolsiders,
We have another top tail from the Donovan Stables, so grab a sunlounger, slip into the budgie smugglers and relax with a woo hoo!

Brilliant read Chris. I went to a PAC meeting at Kenfig in 1988 , were any of you lads there? Following weekend, i fished Llandegfedd for the first time.

Very interesting Chris....I met a couple in Ireland and at Blithfield over the years, I am the worlds worst at putting names to faces but they are all certainly guys that put in the hard yards. We had our own Mafia in Norfolk but not all could claim local lineage whereas you seem to put great store in that particular attribute.....fair play to you Chris

Cracking read that, I like the wee anecdotal articles that centre around characters rather than 'I caught this'. To be fair though the pike pool doesn't have too many of those types of articles. Cheers for that guys.

Re: Pike Pool (105) Chris Donavan
Thanks for the comments.
One of the advantages of posting on here is that fellow pikers respond which differs from say the monthly and quarterly journal's.
This article was submitted to other forms but either not considered in line with their narrative (which I understand) or they didn`t like the comical inferences made of their hero`s, (which I don`t understand).
Either way, thanks for the encouragement and I might even consider rewriting the "Route" articles with a fresh eyes. It is only a theory of pike behaviour but I think anything that promotes discussion is worth while.
Keep well,
Chris Donovan
