Have i got a treat for you this week with a cracking article from Danny,it's not about Pike fishing but even you hardened Essox hunters will like this i promise you.

Follow Danny around his Secret Mere as he hunts down his target fish,and what a fish it proved to be as they just dont come much bigger than this, i kid you not.

What a captivating read Danny and from that a captivating place for you to have gotten to fish

I came across a similar place to yourself a few years ago, there is just something about coming across a 'virgin' water knowing that very few if at all have had the pleasure of what you have and getting the rewards from them

cheers for all the positive comments, makes it all worthwhile. The events of the story took place a few years ago now but the fish still remains one of my most memorable captures.

I was expecting to read that a massive pike turned up from no where and grabbed the tench whilst you were playing it lol Great read m8

That's a story and a half. An absolute whopper tench from a water where it probably had never seen a boilie or a pellet in it's lifetime, and never will...
