Any Mackerel showing around North Wales yet?

Post by Frenchieboy »

Just a quickie with a general inquiry!
Does anyone know if there are any Mackerel showing around the North Wales coast yet please as I would like to get my light spinning rod out and try for a few.
In fact any reports of Mackerel showing anywhere around the coast might be helpful for other members, I am sure they might well be interested!

'Ship happens adventures' posted their latest yt yesterday on 'Boutari' which is berthed in Deganwy marina at Conwy & they did a brief bit of fishing (feathers) while out testing new electronics & caught a few mackerel.

Thanks "Paintman", I haven't watched that video yet. I'll watch it this evening while drinking a bottle of Porter!

Yes it does help Whitey old mate. It means I don't have to worry about what lure to use!
