Mackerel still on the shore

Post by mickmcd »

My brother called me last night to tell me there were strings of mackerel still being caught off a local beach here, I can never remember them being on the beach this late in the year. Might take a wee run round there today to see what the score is.

And bag a few for me and his nibs
Above all, I would like to be remembered as a man who was selfless, who strove and worried so that others could share the glory, and who built up a family of people who could hold their heads up high and say 'We're Liverpool'.

Where is HERE Mick?

I was on the Chesil a week or so ago and it was packed with foreign looking gentlemen slinging feathers and a few local guys soaking rag and no one was catching anything except weed!
Actually one small bass was caught around 7am and one mack at 3pm and that was it.

Waters still a bit too warm, or thats what they're saying??
