Making up weights with carp is a recipe for getting found out. The fish themselves and the weight at last capture tend to be known.

I personally don’t believe his zander claim, or any other he catches. He’s well known for making weights up round here.

I was timing it but then the video cut and started a bit further along if you know what I mean, then I watched to see if it swam off but couldn't see that either.

Same venue as Dave Lavender's fish. They're both mentioned in Steve Younger's book.
