Back in the day Solar tackle bought out camo weed effect stuff for rig concealment , I bought some and liked the stuff so I looked around and found eyelash wool, which as it happens is exactly what it is, happy days. I have been using it ever since, I put it on my leads and hook links and the last yard as well, I see on e bay they are selling 20 yards for about 15 quid, if you type in eyelash wool you can get a whole ball of it for about 3 quid, how good is that ?...I even use it on some of my pike traces, lay it on the bottom of the lake in the edge and it looks exactly like a bit of weed .
