dont do it. horrible bit of kit not the usual build quality ive seen from the ambassadeur range.
Theres about an inch 'n' a half of play in the anti reverse, the line lay is terrible "high" at the ends of the spool, spool looks very cheaply made and general loose and tacky feel all over.
It screams budget reel at £80! casting break adjustment screw is cheap plastic and doesnt seem to make "that" much of a difference to over-run (cheap gearing?) in that I mean i slackened it right off and still didnt get much over run.
casting feels and sounds like its about to fall apart
save a few extra quid and get a proper one or buy second hand cheaper than the S and still have a far superior reel for the same money or less.
my pal wont like this but I did tell him to get a second hand 5601 C3
that model has 4 looking at the schematics, it's more or less a bog standard 6500 apart from one little extra bit.
