Richard Walker by Barrie Rickards

Post by piker60 »

Another superb book from the Medlar Press. Well written and researched by the late Barrie Rickards.
Richard Walker was definately multi-talented and an extremely generous person as well. Just shows that you shouldnt judge a book by its cover. The only down side to the purchase, was that I thought that I was buying a 1st edition. Testimony I suppose; that it's now in it's 3rd edition.

Fascinating read ... came up with so many ideas ... think his contemporaries were either in awe of him and/or just plain scared of him.
You don't get many signed Walker books come onto the market mainly because in likelihood at the time very few dared to ask.
