I picked this book up at either a charity shop or World of Books.. been sat on my shelf for ages.

Finished reading it yesterday.

Published in 1982, it's reasonably old but a great read.
Some very interesting points made in the world of fly fishing, of which some can easily transfer to coarse fishing.

If you can find a copy, even if you aren't into fly fishing, it's worth a read.
If you are into fly fishing, I would recommend it.

Hope this helps 👍👍

Richard Walker's legacy is astonishing. He got so much right as a pioneer of fishing whether it be tackle innovation, specimen hunting and trout fishing. He was the greatest and a great thinking angler, which coupled with his writings gave so may an insight as how to improve their own fishing.

If this is the book which gives details on how Trout observe flies in their window of vision I too have read this book and found it to be a great read.

I did buy 2 of Richards books, will check later what they are.
Cheers
