Would a fox kill a fawn that size, not convinced it would, looking at the field, obviously cut and rowed up for silage/Hay, more inclined to think the mower caught it in the headland, farming is fast and indiscriminate when it's mowing time especially with butterfly offset mowers ..my gut feeling is it scavenged this Kev

+1 to that, unlikely that Mr Reynolds captured that on his own. Still, scavenged or not it’ll keep the little bugger fed for a bit and maybe keep him out the bins!

Not much difference between a fawn and a lamb,I know a farmer had 4 lambs attacked by foxes this winter,3 where killed and the other in a mess when found and had to be put down,
The gamekeeper has heat seaking gear on his rifle and does shoot plenty but there’s always more to take there place
