Fledging time for Starlings.

Last view days have seen flocks of young coming in to feed. Great team spirit amongst the adults they feed
Any that have their mouths open, shame they have to learn the hard way when it comes to water.
Fortunately only lost two to the koi filter so far, rescued a few including this little chap who was drying off
In this bush with adults feeding him like a hummingbird collects nectar

They've fledged here now. Noisy buggers!

Blackbirds too.

Given them a new bath so they keep out off the ponds
The chicks enter on mass then after a splash stand there and scream for food

Our black birds were one to two weeks ago, but I did notice a robin today
Looks like the starlings are now getting the rogue white feather disease.
