I’ve not put my ghillie suit on in ages but I have a few plans for some wildlife togging this coming spring. I think my days of carting the full Nikon/Manfrotto set up across country are behind me, but I purposely bought A high spec phone for the camera it has. I’m also looking forward to using my drone for wildlife pics too.
Are phone cameras good enough for wildlife photos now? My phone has a decent camera but the images go all to pot once you have to zoom in to any degree...
My phone camera has five times the resolution of my 35mm Nikon SLR. It will be interesting to see how it performs.

Forgot about this pic. It was a mess with noise but its cleaned up ok in Topaz. A rare second visit to the garden this summer, right at dusk. Usually I see them once each summer here. If i`d had time to take a few more shots i`d have got the grey patio out of the shot, but with these moths you only get a minute or so tops before theyre off elsewhere so quick grab shots are about all you get...

BTW - I got a bit wet today but it faired up. If the forecast is right I'll be giving the trial on Saturday a miss...

Some lovely shots Mark.
I'm the opposite, I've got back into my fishing more and more, so the camera has had very little use this year, except for a couple of visits to a local little owl location.

We`ve got a few sites to check out for little owls this coming spring so hopefully we`ll be able to get some photos at one of them at least...

Anyway he used to post some incredible wildlife photos, he used to a photo of the day type thing. Haven't seen him on for a while though.
