Was out photographing sheepy things on a farm I have permission to wander anywhere I like. I wanted to get a look at the view from where the farmer wants his ashes scattered - a steep climb but I can see why he wants to be deposited there, it IS a great view. Down hill I saw two roe deer running towards me. It looked like a buck and a doe from afar, and even through the camera. It wasn't until I got home and zoomed in as much as I could I saw it was two bucks. The older one chasing the younger one. That made sense. Speaking to the farmer later he'd seen a buck earlier and said it was the first one he'd seen for a long time. I'll let him know there are two in the area.
I saw a pheasant too.
