On monday night i heard the news one of my close friends had passed away in southport hospital aged 70.On tuesday i had probably the worst day i can remember since my dad died.
Alfie whom had owned me since he was 8 weeks old passed away 4 days short of his 12th birthday.Anyone who knows me will know what this little boy meant to me . We had been through very sad and very happy times together and am struggling to come to terms with his death. He was a wonderful companion and i will miss him so much ,we have other dogs but he was my special boy.
R.I.P Alfie.

Gutted for you, they really do leave an awfully big hole when they go.
My opinion may offend, but it's only an opinion that may differ to your's.
It doesn't make me wrong.

Proper characters schnauzers as well, we lost a very similar looking schnauzer called archie this year in Southport, he was a top dog. Sorry for your loss on both counts, I'm sure he appreciated the good times, no doubt in his own strange way

Apart from family members, there's nothing worse than losing your four legged friend. And there's nothing else that comes close to the bond between a dog and its owner. I hope time helps to ease the pain. Mike.

I'm so sorry to read of your loss mate, I can feel your pain for sure. I lost my little Shih Tsui Alfie 2.5 years ago, and the couch still doesn't seem the same without him sat in his spot.

I hope things get better for you soon.

Sorry to hear about Archie pal, I’m sure you gave him a wonderful 12 years.

For me dogs are one of the most life enriching components of our existence.

Sadly we usually outlive our fur babies but if we dwelled on that too much we’d never get them in the first place.

A wise man once said to me “grief is the price we pay for love” and that really struck a chord with me.

I hope you can soon focus on all the joy Alfie brought to you and your family ❤️
