De-slugging rabbits

Post by CraigRenwick »

I feed my snakes wild caught rabbits but getting the pellets out can be a pure pain in the ass using tweezers. Is there a better way of getting them out?

thing is mate the snakes stomach acids dissolve the teeth, all that comes out is some fur and calcium power deposits from the bones

Another thing to try is head shots using a .177 and shoot close range. The pellets should pass sraight through with ease.

You'd need to sit pretty close by, Because the buzzards will have them empty in minutes Image
