Very recent similar issues here. On initial conection attempt, tells me no connection (for a second), then connects normally.

No problems at all with any other site.

if you could get me a screenshot that would be great as im not getting the same. I know the other week we had a few connection issues with the host and connections to the database. they must be doing something after the spectre/meltdown processor bugs with the fix for those making servers slower!

I'm getting this on mine

Turn on TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 in Advanced settings and try connecting to https://www.the-pikers-pit.co.uk again. If this error persists, it is possible that this site uses an unsupported protocol or cipher suite such as RC4 (link for the details), which is not considered secure. Please contact your site administrator.

all TLS are on, Microsoft dosnt support RC4 anymore as not secure

problem is croftarse you cant see my posts you t**t

so could some kind soul tell him about it

Pit uses up to tls 1.2 this doesnt appear to be an issue with the encryption itself. we get an A rating in that regard. If the issue was fixable by that info then the browser wouldnt randomly connect at some point, it wouldnt connect at all, ever. Its an odd one im still looking in to. Give it a bash by all means but i doubt it will work.

What browser are people using that get this problem ? I see nige is on an apple. Maybe safari ? Safari always seems to have issues. Id try other browsers tbh.

Firefox but it seems to have sorted itself. It's been an intermittent problem that I hadn't bother to mention in the past. Cheers.

On Chrome' here.

What I have been getting only recently is "This site can't be reached" etc etc.........then after only a very short pause it will connect.

Odd, never-ever used to do that.

If your anti virus has website checking i think perhaps its halting it before allowing people to connect. Its just s theory. See if theres a trusted websites in your av. Im still looking in to this.

Last night I just happened to catch my router internet button flashing then lost connection for a few seconds--- it came back on but although I could get everything else PP wouldn't come back for several minutes and a few attempts at loading it, this happened a few times

no problem today---Sky problem perhaps?
