Re: Christmas Wishes
Hi tom.
The name is Andy.
Just returned to pike angling after a long spell trying to catch other species. (Mostly barbel)
I recently came to my senses and decided to aim for pike almost exclusively.
I have caught large pike in the past but my last twenty graced the landing net almost twenty years ago.
My target this year was to again hold and photograph a big pike.
Just a couple of weeks after starting my winter campaign, by some fluke or minor miracle i once again managed to track one down!
to say i'm smitten with pike now is an understatement!
Thank you for the warm welcome.

Hi Andy
Well done on the twenty ( still waiting for one, getting closer )
As for the barbel never had one but I’m definitely going to have a go for them very soon .
Good bunch of people on the pit ,just don’t mention fluorocarbon.

Re: Christmas Wishes
If you ever visit Yorkshire and fancy a go at the barbel i'll point you in the right direction!
Loads of barbel on my doorstep, no comparison to the Trent in size but relatively easy to catch!
Best of luck on getting the biggies.
Kindest regards. Andy
